PSR Specialist

PSR Specialists work directly with their clients in the community to deliver Psychosocial Therapy. They develop treatment plans in conjunction with Program Managers and State employees to help clients attain a higher degree of community integration and independence then work with a client to accomplish the goals on the plan.

PSR Specialists must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a nationally accredited university or college in Social Work, Behavioral Science, Special Education, or Psychology. At least 21 credit hours in related human services fields such as psychology, social work, special education, counseling, or psychosocial rehabilitation is required. Ongoing training of at least 20 credit hours annually is also required.
