Job Coach
A Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, or "Job Coach", creates a detailed plan based upon a professional assessment to assist individuals in developing the life skills necessary to independently pursue a chosen vocation. They work closely with other members of the vocational services team which includes Employers, Family Members, Service Coordinators, and other community members as appropriate. Additionally, a Job Coach supervises Employment Specialistst and regularly performs audits and reviews to ensure quality service delivery. this is a Master's level position requiring and advanced degree in Vocational Rehabilitiation, Social Work, or Education.
